Pay On Your Xcel Bill shows what ClearPath On-Bill would add to an Xcel bill for a heat pump or heat pump water heater, who qualifies and what to weigh first.
It is not affiliated with Xcel Energy or the Collective Clean Energy Fund (CCEF). ClearPath On-Bill is run by CCEF, with Xcel Energy as the participating utility. Program names belong to them.
Who does the work
When you send photos or schedule an estimate, the request goes to the Denver heating and cooling contractor that does our estimates and installs. It is an authorized ClearPath On-Bill and RENU contractor. The photos on this site are from its installs.
Where the numbers come from
Prices are typical ranges from our recent estimates in the Denver area, before rebates, rounded to the nearest $100. Half of recent Denver estimates fall inside each range. The ranges for a heat pump with a new gas furnace and for a ducted heat pump follow our current pricing instead.
Rebates follow the published program rules, and our estimates pass the full $1,000 State discount on its own line. Xcel pays heat pump rebates per ton of heating, so the monthly payment tool uses a typical size from our recent estimates; your estimate uses your equipment. Power Ahead Colorado applies only in the Denver metro, so the tool lets you switch it off.
Monthly payments use ClearPath's published rates and standard loan math, rounded to the dollar only for display. The 2% origination fee is added to the amount financed. County filing fees aren't included. Every payment shown is an estimate, if approved.
